UAL BENGAL awarded “International Prestigious Award 2022” from LLES , UP and SNVT , Rajasthan towards its outstanding performance in various field of Social Service , Immortal Contribution to the spirit of Patriotism , Environment Protection etc

UAL - BENGAL adjudged as WINNER ( First Prize in Medium &Large Category ) of Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Safety, Health & Environment ( SHE) Awards 2022 on 30th December 2022 at the 121st Annual General Meeting of MCCI in Presence of Sri Sarbananda Sanowal (Hon’ble Minister of Ports, Shipping, Waterways & Ayush , Govt Of India).

UAL-ODISHA has received the “Kalinga Environment Excellence Award (4 STAR)" for the performance year 2021on 11th June, 2022, Honoured by Institute of Quality & Environment Management Services & collaboration with State Pollution Control Board, Odisha. The Excellence Award was conferred by the Special Guest His Excellency Sri Andalib Elias, Dy. High Commissioner of Bangladesh along with other dignitaries like Dr. K. Murugesan(IFS), Member Secretary, OSPCB.

Our UAL Bengal unit participated in the Water Warrior Awards- 2022 and was declared “Winner”. The award was organized by Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Lifeline Foundation. Shri Shrikant Sharma, Minister BJP presented the award, in an award ceremony at Mathura.

UAL - Bengal at the Social Impact Awards & Summit, 2022 held on 11th March, 2022, received Social Impact Awards as a special jury recognition for its Eradicating Hunger & Poverty Project and Special Jury appreciation for its Health Care Project.

UAL - Bengal received the “Energy Conservation Award -2021” on 21.12.2021 organized by CII.

UAL - Bengal received prestigious CLEAN INDUSTRY GREEN INDUSTRY AWARD -2021 from Mr. Sukhram Vishnoi – (Honourable Minister of Factories and Boilers – Rajasthan Government) for playing an important role in Green Service and also immortal contribution to the spirit of Patriotism & Environmental Protection through more than 50% greenery; development of Tea plantation, Medicinal plants, Rain Water Harvesting Project & Vermicompost pit; Energy conservation & reuse of renewable energy only to mention a few. Most importantly, we are working with “ZERO WASTE & ZERO EFFLUENT” Management principle with later and spirit.

UAL-ODISHA has received the “Kalinga Safety Excellence Award (Silver)” for the performance year, 2020 on dtd.22.12.2021 from Odisha State Safety Conclave, Bhubaneswar. The award handed over by the Hon’ble Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh Syt. Toufique Hasan in presence of Hon’ble Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly Syt. (Dr.) Suyranarayan Patra.

UAL - Bengal received prestigious “SANMARG BUSINESS AWARDS-2020” for outstanding & excellent business practices. It includes leadership & creativity in business, environment friendly manufacturing process, initiatives towards sustainability & preventing climate change, innovative strategies / R&D, development strategies to track new opportunities, concern for community development, maintaining best HR practices, Employee management & Employee welfare and best practices for combating with COVID - 19 at workplace etc and all on a single platform.

UAL - Bengal received the prestigious Environment Excellence Award six times & at a stretch for the last consecutive 5 years for unmatched excellence in its environmental management system. It includes plantation of more than 23750 trees inside and surrounding the factory; development of Tea plantation, Medicinal plants, Rain Water Harvesting Project &Vermicompost pit with the assistance of IIT-Kharagpur; only to mention a few. Most importantly, we are working with the “ZERO WASTE & ZERO EFFLUENT” Management principle with letter and spirit. UAL - Bengal is well recognized in the surrounding area for its green cover and innovative environmental initiatives.

UAL – Bengal has received prestigious “National Occupational Health & Safety Awards” for best practices on Occupational Health & Safety management, from Indian Chamber of Commerce. UAL-BENGAL has received it for three consecutive years. Shri Becharam Manna, Hon’ble Minister, Dept of Labour, Govt. of WB presented the award on 25.09.2021. This award is presented to the organization having best in class occupational health management and excellence in industrial safety. This contest is held nationwide having more than sixty participating industries.

UAL KONCRETE has received the most prestigious “WEST BENGAL BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL LEADERSHIP AWARD 2021 in the category of ‘MOST PREFERRED BRAND BY CONSTRUCTION & REAL ESTATE SECTOR (AAC BLOCK) conducted by GLOBAL REAL ESTATE CONGRESS in MARCH-2021. In the emerging AAC industry & Business UAL KONCRETE has been judged the best LEADER in AAC brand. UAL Koncrete is one of the single largest plant facility of European technology in India

UAL - Bengal received prestigious “National Occupational Health & Safety Award” from Indian Chamber of Commerce for excellent Health &Safety management practice. It bears credential of ISO 45001:2018 certified standard from Bureau Veritas, London, UK.The organization has taken several innovative measures forhandling COVID-19 pandemic situations. We take pride due to our proactive safety measure, we did not face even minor accident in last one decade.

UAL - Bengal received prestigious Social Impact awards- 2018 & 2021 in the category of Health Care for its unparalleled support towards society. We believe our initiative would help villagers to improve their lifestyle and will reduce the mortality rate significantly. Our initiatives are also appreciated in the category of Promoting Education in the year 2018 for improving the local youth's skills through its owned skill development center. It also has contributed towards the society in various ways viz. providing stipend to meritorious students, building schools, providing free medical treatment to the surrounding community, and much more.

UAL - Bengal received remarkable Star rating in the field of energy conservation in 12th ENCON Awards from Confederation of Indian Industries for its contribution towards the clean and green earth. It has partially shifted towards the renewable energy through its rooftop solar power generation system for a better tomorrow. It also has made lot of equipment and process alterations to make the system more efficient. Resultantly, it has reached a energy consumption level, that may be considered as a benchmark for peer industries.

For promoting healthy competition among all production Units CMD Trophy is being organised every year covering important operational parameters. It’s continuing since 2013-14. Through this CMD Trophy management acknowledges effort of best performing production units.
UAL – Bengal has received CMD trophy for consecutive 7 years.
